About Us

The Student Run Health Clinic was founded in 1989 under the direction of Dr. Richard Usatine in the Department of Family Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine. The clinics are run by undergraduate and medical students and supervised by licensed UCLA faculty and community physicians. Between our clinic locations in Westwood, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood, the SRHC serves on a regular basis greater than 500 patients, both adult and children. Our services include preventive health services, screening physicals, basic primary care treatment, TB/HIV screening, and immunizations for children and adults. In addition to medical care, the SRHC is working to bring essential social services to the communities we serve.

Our Mission

The SRHC's mission is to provide respectful and compassionate high quality healthcare services to disadvantaged adults, children and families. The individuals and families we serve benefit by receiving free medical care from UCLA medical students and faculty physicians. The founders and participants in the clinics are dedicated to the health of the community.
