Course Description & Requirements
COURSES: Selective: MSI & MSII | Elective: MSIII & MSIV | Chiefs
David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA students at all levels of their medical education can be involved in the homeless clinics. By participating, students receive course credit towards their medical degree and are able to gain firsthand experience in the community-based clinical care.
Please note: Both the Selective & Elective Courses are a longitudinal experience.
Selective: MSI & MSII
Period of Participation: October 2007 - June 2008
- Orientation Session & Vaccination Training
- 5 clinics
- 1 evening seminar
- Attendance at the wrap up session or a 1-2 page reflective paper on an experience at a clinic (email to Bahij Austin)
All requirements must be completed by June 1, 2008.
*Drop Deadline: February 1, 2008
Elective: MSIII & MSIV

3rd Year Students: July 2007 - June 2008
4th Year Students: July 2007 - May 2008
