Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

• Q1. How can I submit my surveys?
  You can submit your surveys online using the links we provide you by email. Each day of participation you will receive a reminder email containing links to the surveys you will be completing that day. We also offer a paper version of these surveys in a convenient participation booklet which you can fill out and mail back to us.

• Q2. Can I do some days in my book and some online?
  Yes, if you would like to submit a portion of your surveys online and record the rest in your book please feel free to do so. You will continue to receive reminders by email throughout the day. Please notify us of the change at your earliest convenience.

• Q3. What if I'm not sure what to write?
  If you have any questions about coding an activity, please read the examples included with your surveys. You can write in answers in the "other" field or contact us with any unresolved questions.

• Q4. Can I just wait to do all of my surveys on the weekend?
  We understand you are very busy but in order to avoid excess recall bias we ask that you complete your surveys within the following 24 hours. So, unless your scheduled day was Friday, the answer to this question is NO.

• Q5. Do I have to do all days in the same week?
  No, you must complete 5 participation days but you can spread them out over time. We ask that you do not try to complete the project only on “down” days but give us a good representation of a typical week.

• Q6. What if I forgot to do a survey?
  We encourage you to complete all five surveys on your scheduled dates but recognize that occasionally one may be missed. You can continue with your participation and we will contact you if more information is needed.
